Autumn Activities and Halloween fun in Big Bear

As summer cools and fall starts turning leaves and chilling the air, the mountains come to life with fun activities! In addition to the colorful hikes, pumpkin spice lattes, and chimneys scenting the air with cozy smoke from fireplaces, the lake remains a gorgeous refuge for wildlife and fun-seekers alike.

We’re gearing up for cooler temperatures onboard the tiki boat as well with hot beverages and cozy blankets creating a comfortable environment to get out and enjoy the lake. Some of our best sunsets in the mountains happen during the months of October and November. Imagine yourself sipping a hot buttered rum on the lake after an invigorating hike through the scarlet and gold of the turning trees.

We’ll be hosting a Halloween party onboard the Big Bear tiki boat to close out the season with a bang. Tickets are available to reserve your spot onboard now! The best costume of the day will win a free ticket for one of our tours in 2026 with couples costumes eligible as well. We’ll be serving warm drinks along with our standard menu, and we’ll be hosting a variety of onboard games throughout the day as well!
