Frequently asked questions.
Do we sell alcohol onboard the boat?
Yes! Liquor license permitting, we do! Check out our menu for some one-of a kind cocktails, or kick back with a bottle of beer or a glass of wine. You must show valid ID to purchase alcohol. Please note - the bar is cash only at the moment due to limited cellular connectivity on the lake. Please also ensure that you have a driver designated, or arrange a pick up in advance!
Can minors and children come?
YES!! We may have a bar, but we are first and foremost a boat. A really cool, family friendly, music bumpin’ lake tiki boat. Free lei and kid-friendly beverage included for kids 13 and younger!
Is there a bathroom onboard the boat?
Yes! There’s nothing worse than having to pee and not having a place to go. We have a basic head (bathroom on a boat) with a flushing toilet and a sink for hand washing behind the bar.
Can I get a refund for bad weather?
With our lovely palapa roof the bar is well protected from rain, so we operate rain or shine. Because of this we won’t be able to refund you, but we are happy to help you reschedule! We also have blankets onboard for anyone who needs an extra layer.
Can I play my own music?
On a private tour this is strongly encouraged! On a public tour we will provide a list of approved playlists. You may select the list that best suits your interests, and you can preview the playlists here! If you do not wish to pick your music, don’t worry, our captain is happy to throw down some sweet tracks for ya. Please note - if you want to play your own music on a private tour we recommend downloading your list before we leave the dock to avoid buffering.
What if I get motion sick?
Most people who have issues with motion sickness actually don’t have any problems on our lake. There are no swells, and even on a choppy day the waves are small. If you are still concerned, you may look into taking motion-sickness medications like Dramamine before the tour (talk to your doctor - we are not here to offer medical advice), or schedule yourself on a morning or evening tour when the water is likely to be calmest.
Should I tip my captain?
This one is up to you! Our captains are hired for their phenomenal skill in both boating safety and decadent bartending, and they won’t compromise their service either way while out on the water with you. If you appreciate their efforts and you enjoy your tour we strongly recommend tipping! Industry standard in boating is 10-20% of the ticket price, and if you’re receiving phenomenal bar service, consider throwing in a few bucks for that as well.
Can I smoke on the boat?
Unfortunately not on this boat. We do everything possible to fire-proof our roof, but with the flammable materials onboard, a vessel registration that prohibits federally restricted substances, and mixed public groups on board, we kindly ask that you refrain from smoking or vaping any substance during the tour.
Where do I park? Is it free?
We offer FREE PARKING to all of our guests! We have a small, dirt lake-front lot for parking, and there is ample public parking along the road next to our location when our lot fills up. Feel free to call ahead to ask about conditions!
